表に神聖な動物である象、背面にはシヴァ神がニエロ(Niello)技法で描かれ、タイの伝統をモチーフにしています。漆のような質感の黒にシルバーの彫刻が浮き立つデザインで、薄く、適度な重さと大きさを持ったエキゾチックなコンパクトです。同じ手法を使ったダンサーのコンパクトも収蔵しています。

This compact celebrates Thai traditions. Niello work is used to draw the holy elephant on the top of the case, and Shiva on the back, with the black lacquer-textured background enhancing the beauty of the silver engraving. Thin with moderate weight, this is an exotic compact. We also have a compact with a dancer design using the same technique.
